Collection: Bandhej, Shibori Tie & Dye

Bandhej is a tie-and-dye technique where fabric is tightly tied into tiny bindings using threads and then dyed. The tied portions resist the dye, creating intricate dot-based patterns when untied. This creates motifs that are geometric, floral, or symbolic in nature.

Clamp dyeing is a striking resist dyeing technique that involves folding fabric and compressing it between shaped clamps (blocks) before dyeing. This method prevents dye from reaching the clamped areas, creating geometric or organic patterns depending on how the fabric is folded and what shapes are used.
