Collection: Ajrakh Modal Silk Dupatta
Ajrakh block print is one of the most ancient and culturally rich textile art forms of India, known for its intricate geometric patterns, deep natural colors, and a strong connection to heritage and sustainability. It originates from Kutch (Gujarat) and Sindh (Pakistan), and is closely associated with the Khatri community of artisans.
It is a traditional hand-block printing technique that uses natural dyes—such as indigo, madder, and pomegranate peels—to create symmetrical patterns on cotton or silk fabrics. The process is highly detailed and can involve up to 14–16 steps, including washing, dyeing, printing, and drying.
